Does anyone else watch the Olympics?
I watch them all - Summer and Winter. I think it's fun and I love rooting for our American Teams. I also like to root for LDS athletes no matter what country they are from.
The Olympics is half over and we are on top in the medal count with a total of 20 (6-6-8), with Germany a distant 2nd with 13 medals.
GO USA!!!
I've loved them since I first heard about it in 1st or 2nd grade when we learned about the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. I will always remember 1996 in Atlanta when gymnast Kerri Strug stuck her ankle-breaking landing on my birthday! And I absolutely loved the SLC games and to this day wish I could've been there to watch. Hopefully they will be held here again, but it looks like it won't be until at least 2022 :( These Vancouver games sure are great though!

ReplyDeleteNo, I missed a lot, especially more toward the end. I had to make sure I saw both the Opening and Closing ceremonies though. I really liked the biathlon, suprisingly. I've never seen that before. Even when I think about it know, it makes me want to go out and learn it. I would love to do that!
