Wow, how time flies! And too many things have been happening.
I'll try to take things in order:

On April 21st, Temy came home from his mission in Utah Salt Lake
City and the next day Daniel received his mission papers.
Daniel received his call to go to the New Mexico Albuquerque Mission, entering the MTC on July 27th.

On May 16th, Temy and I left for Utah to stay with Kaleen until she had her baby. The next day Daniel had another surgery on his right eye to remove blood and old scar tissue. He healed nicely and has had great improvement in seeing with that eye.

June 3rd - Kaleen had not gone into labor so her doctor had her check into the hospital at 7 am. By 8 pm he decided it was time to bring that little (and stubborn!) baby into the world.
Scott James Manookin III - 7 lbs. 10 oz. - 19 in. - born at 8:45 pm.
Daniel and his dad had arrived earlier to surprise Kaleen. No one knew they were coming. They came by train and then rented a car.
After a week of enjoying our new grandson we drove home on June 9th.
On June 26th, my sister, Charlotte and I took Temy and Charlotte's granddaughter, Sammy, to Oregon on a Genealogy trip. We found lots of information. We came home on July 2nd.

We celebrated the 4th, then on July 22nd we left for Utah again and spent that night in Bountiful watching fireworks (Pioneer Day celebration). Scotty got his baby blessing at church on Sunday and on Monday morning we went to SLC to watch the Pioneer Day parade. That night we had a block party by Kaleen's house. and watched more fireworks. Wednesday, we drove Daniel down to the MTC and sent him on his way. He will spend 3 weeks there in Provo, then on August 17th he will head to Albuquerque.
