Several years ago when we were asked to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year I only got through most of Alma and that was it. Well, I said procrastination was probably my worst fault! I've decided to set a goal for myself and that is to finish reading the B of M by Stake Conference. Our Stake Conference is Jan. 17th. I figured out that I have to read 6 chapters a day and I should finish up by the 16th. That is picking up where I left off.
I'm also going to be better at reading the scripture assignments for SS and the lessons for RS ahead of time.
I figure if I actually write it down, where others can see it, I will do it. Before, it was just a thought in my head and if I did it or not, no one would know.
What a great goal! Our RS read the book of Mormon over the summer, in 90 days and it was wonderful. Michael and I have been reading it again at night before we go to sleep.
