Well, it's a big disappointment that (Apostle) Elder M. Russell Ballard will not be able to make it to our Stake Conference this weekend! It would have been such an awesome experience and I'm sure he would have had a very special message to share with us.
Yes, for those of you who didn't know...he was supposed to be here this weekend.
I thought it was so great because Temy just had his picture taken with Elder Ballard at their Stake Conference in December. If you would like to see it it is posted on his blog at http://elderartemiogarcia.blogspot.com.
We were told that our Stake Presidency will be changing. I really like our Stake Presidency - Pres. Scott Dorius, Greg Willden, and Kristian Hyer. It will be interesting to see who is called to fill their shoes.
Oh, I am keeping up with my scripture reading and will be finished with the B of M on Saturday! I don't dare "lose face" by not finishing now!
Good job! Oh that's tomorrow-congrats! I don't know what I'm doing, I've started both the BofM and OT and haven't gotten past 10 chapters in either... :(
ReplyDeleteI liked the New Year's Eve pics. I'm sad I wasn't there. I wish I could've been there or everyone there could've come out here! I do think our family's holiday celebrations are a LOT more fun! Feel free to tell that to everyone too!
